A simple passing siding, an industry siding, and stub running through a typical New England small city or large town. You can follow along with the construction of the module at the Railroad-Line Forums.

Oregon, IL and Surrounding Areas (2' / 3' x 70') by James Koretsky

Oregon, IL is a town approximately 100 Miles West of Chicago on the BNSF (Ex BN, Ex CB&Q) C&I Mainline between Aurora  and Savanaha, IL. Oregon served as a base for the the Mt. Morris Branch, which leaves here and heads North to serve customers on the line, however, primarily the huge sand plant in Mt. Morris. The sand plant is still active in Mt. Morris, however, the Branch is now Operated by the I&M Raillink. I’m modeling the town based on 1988, so it will be served by the BN.

The first drawing below is for a set of Bridge modules that would cross over the Rock River.

The drawing below is for the main town, including the small yard that is there that served as an operations base for the Branchline.

The drawing below are for the S Curves at the West end of the town.

Finally, when the entire set is placed together, this is what the setup would look like.
