The New England Free-mo
Group will promote our hobby of model railroading at public events as we
practice it - i.e. through realistic modeling and operations via our modular
layout. Our aim is to promote model railroading to to teens and adults who
will be able to jump right in and enjoy the hobby as we do. You’ll be able to
see NE Free-mo participiating at the following shows / events:
Springfield, MA January 27th and 28th,
2007
NE Free-mo will be attending
the Annual Amherst Model Railroad Society show at the “Big E” convention
center in Springfield, MA. Details of which building we’ll be in
will be added shortly.
Rochester, NY March 17th and 18th,
2007
NE Free-mo will be
attending R.I.T. (Rochester Institute of Technology) Spring Free-mo setup in Rochester, NY, in conjunction
with R.I.T. Free-mo, Fingerlakes Free-mo, and Western
Reserve Free-mo. This is a great event, please come along if you’ll
be in the area.
Detroit, MI July 25th – 29th,
2007
NE Free-mo has been invited too and has accepted to attend
a joint setup between Free-mo and N.C. Sipping & Switching at the National
Train Show/Great Lakes Express - Free-mo 2007. This setup will be done in conjunction
with 5 other Free-mo groups and a modular layout from NC.
